Advanced Data Mining

The Capitalisation base provides statistics aggregates and distribution charts for a portfolio of projects.

Click the Capitalisation menu item in the Squore toolbar to begin using the Capitalisation Base, explore your projects and find out if your analysis models are suited to your development style.

On the left sidebar, click on the Projects field to choose the projects that will be used to aggregate statistics. Only the latest version of the project is considered. It is however possible to choose the project branch we want to consider.

In the example below, we will look at statistics for the Earth, Neptune and Pluto projects, which all use the same analysis model and have similar overall ratings.

Statistics Aggregates

offer an overview of the selected project’s data by providing minimum, maximum, average, number of occurrences, number of distinct values, standard deviation, median, mean absolute deviation to the median. Results are based on the selected measure and artefact type.

The Distribution chart offers the possibility to display any kind of distribution. The distribution is based on the selected measure and artefact type.

You can change the parameters of the distribution graph by adjusting the number of bars, the minimum and maximum values for the axes, by un-ticking the Default distribution graph checkbox.

The Percentile chart offers the possibility to display the measure for each percentile of the distribution. The percentile tabs provides you with the most relevant percentiles.

The Levels Distribution chart is only available when visualizing indicators. It provides a representation of the number of values per level.

You can choose to export any chart data into CSV or an image of the chart itself using the sandwich menu on the top right of the chart.
