- These process definitions cover the fundamental process elements (and their relationships to each other) that must be incorporated into the defined processes that are implemented in projects across the organization. A standard process establishes consistent activities across the organization and is desirable for long-term stability and improvement. The organization's set of standard processes describes the fundamental process elements that will be part of the projects' defined processes.
